Lounge Furniture Rental for Weddings and Events
A loveseat, two armchairs and a coffee table on a rug: that is the start of most lounges Celebrate Event Rentals sets for weddings and events in the Flathead Valley. Add side tables, fire pits and heaters, and our Bigfork crew arranges it all, so guests have somewhere soft to sit between dinner and the dance floor.
Give guests a place to land
A reception is a long night. Between cocktails, dinner and the last song, guests need somewhere to sit that is not their dinner chair. A lounge area gives them that: a cluster of soft seating where people talk, rest their feet, and take the photos that end up on the fridge.
It also changes how a tent feels. A loveseat and a rug in the corner make a big white tent read like a room someone lives in.
A lounge does not need to be big to work. One group of four or five seats, placed where people already gather, does more than three groups pushed against the tent walls. We place it with you when we plan the layout, so it sits near the bar or the dance floor and out of the path to the buffet.

What goes into an event lounge?
Most lounges start with a loveseat or sofa, two armchairs facing it, and a coffee table in between. Add a rug to anchor the group, a side table for drinks, and a lantern if it will be used after dark.
Our layout plans show how a lounge fits beside the dance floor without crowding dinner. See the 40x80 plan with a stage, dance floor and lounge area on our rental resources page.
Three lounge groups, piece by piece
Most lounges we set are one of these three groups. Every piece named here is in our furniture catalog.
The cocktail pair
A loveseat and two armchairs facing a coffee table, on an area rug. It seats four or five, fits on a lawn or a patio, and gives older guests a place to sit while everyone else mingles before dinner.
The dance floor group
A sofa or loveseat with two chairs and a side table at each end, set at the edge of the floor. Guests who are not dancing stay near the music instead of drifting back to their dinner tables.
The fire pit ring
Chairs in a circle around a wood or propane fire pit, with rugs underfoot and a Mexican blanket on each chair. Add a half wine barrel as a drink stand, and the ring stays full long after dark.
Which lounge furniture styles can I rent?
French antique
For a classic or garden wedding, the French antique loveseat and chairs bring carved frames and soft upholstery. They suit a white tent, a lake lawn or a formal reception room.
Retro vintage and farmhouse
For a ranch, barn or mountain setting, warmer woods and textured fabrics fit better: the retro vintage loveseat, a farmhouse side table, or a half wine barrel used as a drink stand.
See every piece in furniture rentals and decor rentals in the catalog, or stop by the Bigfork showroom to sit in them first.

Winter lounges for ski season and holiday parties
Lounge pieces rent all year, and winter lounges are a growing part of what we set. A ski-season party or a holiday gathering under a tent with sidewalls feels like a lodge once there is soft seating and heat.
For heat, we rent wood and propane fire pits, plus spiral flame, umbrella patio and double burner heaters, up to a 170K BTU unit for a big tent, all from our heating rentals. A lounge with rugs and heat makes a covered patio or a sidewalled tent comfortable on a cold night.
Where a lounge works best
Beside the dance floor
Guests who are not dancing still want to be near the music. A lounge group at the edge of the floor keeps them in the party. Our 40x80 layout plan shows exactly this arrangement.
At cocktail hour
Cocktail hour is often outside while the tent is turned for dinner. A loveseat and a pair of chairs on the lawn, with a side table for drinks, gives guests a place to sit while the room is set.
In the reception room
At a lodge or hotel, a lounge group by the fireplace or near the bar turns an open corner into a place people gather. It works for weddings, receptions and client events alike.

What hosts ask about lounge furniture rentals
What lounge furniture do you rent?
Loveseats, armchairs, coffee tables, side tables, rugs, fire pits and heaters, plus bars and bar stools. Browse the furniture and decor categories in our catalog for every piece.
How many lounge pieces do I need?
One lounge group of a loveseat, two chairs and a coffee table seats about four people at a time. Larger weddings often add a second group near the bar or the fire pit.
Can lounge furniture go outside?
Yes, on a lawn, patio or deck, and we plan around the weather with you. Upholstered pieces do best under a tent or a covered patio if rain is possible.
Do you set up the lounge?
Yes. Our crew delivers and arranges the lounge pieces along with the rest of your order, and picks them up after the event.
Can I rent a fire pit with the lounge?
Yes. We rent wood and propane fire pits and several kinds of heaters, so an outdoor lounge stays warm after dark.
Do you rent lounge furniture for corporate events?
Yes. Lounge groups work well for receptions, client events and resort parties. See our corporate event rentals page for the rest of what we bring.
Do you rent lounge furniture in winter?
Yes. Lounge pieces, heaters and fire pits rent all year, and winter lounges are a growing part of what we set.
