Tableware Rental for Every Course
Celebrate sizes every tableware rental by the place setting: dinnerware, glassware and flatware for a seated dinner, a buffet or a cocktail hour. Patterns include Hampton, Tuxton and Cream with Gold dinnerware, Parklane and Vivendi glassware, and Coventry Gold flatware.
Tableware rental for a seated dinner, a buffet or a cocktail hour
Celebrate rents dinnerware, glassware and flatware by the piece, on one order. That lets a seated dinner, a buffet and a cocktail hour each carry a different count per guest. Chargers and serving pieces rent the same way, so the table and the buffet line come from one quote.
Match the plates, glasses and flatware to your course count, then pair the setting with tables and chairs sized to the room.

Dinnerware patterns and charger finishes
Dinnerware lines include Hampton, Yardley, Tuxton, Cream with Gold and Slate square, plus clear Apple plates for a lighter look. Six charger finishes sit under the dinner plate: gold, silver, mahogany, woven, brown leather and square leather. Hampton also comes as a 12 inch plate and a soup or salad bowl.
Start with one dinner plate line and a matching salad or bread plate, then add a charger for a seated dinner or a holiday table. Browse the full dinnerware catalog to see every pattern we carry this season.

What glassware can you rent?
Celebrate's drinkware includes a stemless wine glass, a champagne flute, a coupe, a rocks glass and a mason jar glass. Parklane and Vivendi each carry a matching wine glass, ice beverage glass and bar glass, so every glass at the place setting comes from one line.
A seated dinner place setting can pair a wine glass with a water goblet, with a champagne flute added for toasts. We size the exact glass count to your menu and bar when you book.
How many plates and flatware pieces per guest?
A full seated dinner place setting holds a charger, a dinner plate, a salad or bread plate, and four flatware pieces: a dinner fork, a salad fork, a knife and a spoon. A buffet or a cocktail hour needs fewer pieces because the course count drops.
| Event style | Plates per guest | Flatware pieces per guest | Typical extras |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seated dinner | 2 to 3 (dinner, salad, bread) | 4 (dinner fork, salad fork, knife, spoon) | Charger, wine glass |
| Buffet dinner | 1 to 2 (dinner, dessert) | 2 (fork, knife) | Charger optional |
| Cocktail hour | 1 (appetizer or dessert) | 1 (fork) | Cocktail napkin |
These are a starting point built from the pieces themselves, not a fixed rule. Call (406) 837-3040 and we will size the count to your menu and your guest list.

Flatware patterns in stock
Flatware patterns include plain stainless, Coventry Gold, Rope, Minuet, Geneva, Mikasa and a matte black Holden set, each with a dinner fork, salad fork and knife. A soup spoon and a cake server are also in the catalog for dessert or a buffet course.
Pick a pattern that matches your table and your dinnerware, or mix a plain fork with a gold charger for contrast.
What else goes with a tableware order?
A table setting pairs with a few other categories. Linens and napkins go under the plates, chairs fill the seats, and catering equipment covers the kitchen behind the room. See full place settings in our table setting gallery before you pick a pattern.
Napkins and table covers
Pick a napkin fold and a cloth color to go under the plates.
Tables and chairs
Size the room, then set the table on top of it.
Catering equipment
Chafers and coffee urns keep a buffet moving next to the table.
Holiday table styling
Gold chargers with gold flatware give a holiday table a warm look.
Placing a tableware order
Two numbers set a tableware order: the guest count and the number of courses. We match plates, glasses and flatware to each course and list every piece on the quote. Send the menu too, since a plated dessert or a soup course adds a plate or a spoon per guest.

Tableware rental questions
How many plates do I need per guest for a seated dinner?
Two to three: a dinner plate, a salad or bread plate, and a dessert plate if dessert is plated. Clear dessert plates rent in 6 inch and 6.75 inch sizes for that course.
What is included in a flatware rental?
Each flatware pattern rents as individual pieces, not a bundled set, so you order exactly the count you need per guest. Serving pieces like a cake server or a meat fork rent separately for the buffet or dessert table.
Can I rent chargers without renting the dinner plates?
Yes. A charger rents on its own and sits under any dinner plate, including one from your own kitchen.
What is the difference between dinnerware and a charger?
A dinner plate holds the food during the meal. A charger is a larger decorative plate that sits underneath it the whole meal and never touches food directly, adding color or texture to the place setting.
Do you rent matching glassware sets?
Yes. Parklane and Vivendi each have a matching water pitcher in the catalog, so the pitcher on the table matches the glasses at each seat.
What drives the cost of a tableware rental?
Price follows the piece count and the pattern: a full seated dinner setting with a charger and four flatware pieces costs more per guest than a cocktail hour with one plate and one fork. Tell us your course count and guest list for an exact quote.
Can I mix flatware or dinnerware patterns for one event?
Yes. Two dinnerware lines or two charger colors can share one order, split by table or by course. Tell us the look you want and we pull it from the catalog.
