Table and Chair Rentals for Any Guest Count
A 5 ft round table seats eight guests, and Celebrate Event Rentals' table and chair rentals cover dining tables, folding and wood chairs, benches, cocktail tables and bar stools for any guest count. Table sizes run from 4 ft to 8 ft, round or rectangular, with folding and wood chair styles to match.
How many tables and chairs do I need for my guest count?
A 100 guest dinner takes thirteen 5 ft round tables and one hundred chairs. The chart below runs the same math for other guest totals. A head table, buffet line or cake table is counted on top of the guest tables, so add those before you send the order.
Once the count is set, chairs, tables and tableware ship on one order.

What table sizes does Celebrate rent?
Celebrate's dining tables run from a 4 ft banquet table up to an 8 ft banquet table, with 5 ft and 6 ft rounds and a 5 ft serpentine table for a curved buffet line. An Elmwood farm table and a barnwood 6 ft table add a rustic look without changing the seat count.
A sweetheart table suits a small head table, and a king banquet table extends the longest dinner line. Round and rectangular tables both set up the same way under a tent.

What chair styles come with a table rental?
Celebrate's dining chairs include a barrel white chair, folding chairs in brown, fruitwood, natural wood, resin and white finishes, a Pilgrim chair and a whitewashed Pilgrim chair for a dressier head table, and a French antique chair. That is nine styles in all, available in any combination for the same order.
Benches in barnwood or white fit long farm tables for a casual dinner, and bar stools in copper, gun metal or wood finish pull up to a cocktail table or a bar. We match chair style to table style so the look stays consistent across the room.
Table and chair counts by guest total
The chart rounds every table total up to the next whole table, so each guest has a seat. It runs from 20 guests up to 200, with one chair per guest and the 5 ft round as the base table. Use it as a starting count, and we confirm the final number against your layout.
| Guests | 5 ft round tables | Chairs |
|---|---|---|
| 20 | 3 | 20 |
| 40 | 5 | 40 |
| 60 | 8 | 60 |
| 80 | 10 | 80 |
| 100 | 13 | 100 |
| 150 | 19 | 150 |
| 200 | 25 | 200 |
Need rectangle banquet tables instead of rounds, or a mix of both? Call (406) 837-3040 and we will size the order from the same guest count, table by table.

Setup and strike for tables and chairs
Our own crew delivers every table and chair order, sets it on site in the room, on the lawn or under the tent, and strikes it after the party ends. This covers benches, cocktail tables and bar stools on the same order.
Sizing and booking a table order
A table order is sized from the guest count first. Tell us the guest count and the site you have, whether a lawn, a deck or a tent. We match table and chair styles to that count and to the space.
Tell us the guest count
Give us a headcount and the site, and we start from your seats, not a guess.
We pick the tables and chairs
Rounds, rectangles, benches or stools, matched to your table count and your style.
We deliver and set up
Our crew drives the order out, sets every table and chair, and leaves the room ready.
We strike it after
The same crew returns, breaks down every table and chair, and hauls it out.

Table and chair rental questions
How much does it cost to rent tables and chairs?
Table style, count and your event date set the price. Our quote form gives a clear number before you book.
How many chairs come with a table rental?
We count one chair for every seat at the table style you choose, plus any extra chairs for a head table or a lounge area. Tell us the guest count and we match chairs to tables before the order ships.
What is the difference between a banquet table and a round table?
A banquet table is a straight rectangle, from 4 ft to 8 ft, good for a long buffet line or a tight room. A round table seats guests facing each other.
Do you rent high chairs for kids?
Yes. A high chair rents alongside your dining tables and chairs for a guest list that includes young kids.
Can I rent cocktail tables with my dining tables and chairs?
Yes. Wine barrel top and 30 or 36 inch bistro cocktail tables are in the same furniture catalog as dining tables and chairs, and ship on the same order.
Do chairs need to match the table style?
No. Folding chairs in any finish pair with any table size, and benches or bar stools can mix in for a casual or cocktail area within the same order.
Can I rent tables and chairs for a holiday party?
Yes. Tables, chairs and benches work for a sit down dinner or a standing buffet at a holiday party, and bar stools pair with the cocktail tables for a standing crowd.
Do tables and chairs work inside a tent?
Yes. Every table and chair style in our catalog sets up the same way inside a party tent as it does indoors or on a lawn, and the same crew handles both in one visit.
